A few days before the elections, the Ministry of Construction and Housing announced the opening of another lottery price draw for residents - for 851 housing units in the north. Of the total lottery apartments, approximately 662 apartments in Haifa, 170 apartments in the Galilee landscape, and 19 apartments in Hatzor HaGlilit. The lottery registration - will close on March 12, and the lottery results will be delivered to the winners in the following two weeks.
The Ministry of Construction and Housing and the National Housing Office of the Ministry of Finance said that as part of the political effort to encourage housing in the periphery and national priority communities, winners of Hatzor HaGlilit and the Galilee landscape will also receive a grant of NIS 60,000, which will be recognized as part of the equity to purchase the apartments. In addition, it was stated that for the first time in this lottery, the priorities between the series will be eliminated - giving equal opportunity for late registrants to the program to receive a significant discount for the first apartment purchase.
According to the Ministry of Housing, the 851 apartments will be added to some 76,000 housing units that have already been rented out as part of a housing price plan to date, marketed in 86 different localities around the country. The data indicates that, as of today, more than 51,000 of these housing units have full building permits or permit conditions (subject to a committee decision). In addition, approximately 72,000 registrants won the apartment at a supervised price under the plan, of which approximately 28,000 residents won the apartment in their residential locality.
Benny Dreyfus, Director General of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, said: "Another lottery targeted in Haifa and the Galilee is another answer for the young couples who want to buy an apartment in the north of the country and in Haifa. This time too, grants of NIS 60,000 will be provided in the Galilee and Hatzor HaGlilit landscapes to help develop these communities.
Ze'ev Bielski, head of the National Housing Authority, said: "The additional lottery at the cost of the home that opens today is the first area-targeted lottery - Haifa and the north of Israel. The last lottery, which closed a few weeks ago, has proven beyond doubt that the demand for the program is great, and the program continues to shape the market. Real Estate in Israel.
Minister of Construction and Housing Dr. Yifat Shasha Biton said: "Another lottery of apartments in Haifa and the Galilee will allow another 851 families to buy a flat at a fair price thanks to a price plan for the housing led by Minister Kahlon, thereby joining 76,000 winners already on their way to their own home. The Housing Price Plan is the most significant and in-depth government housing program in the State of Israel, and we are seeing the results on the ground. The number of deals that peaked, and the impressive response to the sweepstakes indicate unprecedented public confidence in the program. We will continue to work to create housing solutions for young couples and housing enhancers in Israel.
