Intel unveils at CES Wifi chips developed in Israel

Intel unveiled a new generation of Wi-Fi chips at the CES show in Las Vegas, developed in Israel. They allow 40% faster browsing than the previous generation. The new chips will come into use during the coming year. "The enthusiasm of the industry from AX2802 has a good reason," said Doron Tal, CEO of the wireless group at Intel's smart home group, which is responsible for development.
The new device will offer significant improvements over its predecessor," he said, adding that it is expected to provide record speeds of 40 percent faster for single user data traffic. It will also optimize network operation and extend battery life.
Intel is expected to expand its Wi-Fi product line with new 802.11ax chips to common home routers for cable, fiber, and consumer cable gateways. Wifi chips are being developed in Israel
"Performance improvements come just in time to meet demand for smart and connected homes," added the group manager.
"Intel's 802.11x chips were built to provide speeds that provide both small and large packets, ensuring optimal device performance in applications such as games, video and voice calls
