Ituranmob Signs Strategic Deal with Shlomo Sixt for Smart Mobility Integration

Ituranmob, the global innovation and technology arm of the Ituran Group, has signed a major agreement with Shlomo Sixt, one of the world’s leading car rental companies, to install its smart telematics system in hundreds of vehicles in the Shlomo Sixt Share car-sharing fleet.

The new system will enable Shlomo Sixt to conduct fully digital rental transactions, featuring remote vehicle monitoring, real-time telematics, emergency support, preventive maintenance, vehicle control, and automatic customer billing — all through a self-service mobile app operating 24/7.

Enhancing car sharing through real-time technology

With the integration of Ituranmob’s telematics and connectivity platform, Shlomo Sixt Share users will be able to rent, unlock, and return vehicles directly via the app, eliminating the need for human intervention. The system’s smart mobility features will give Shlomo Sixt’s management full control of each vehicle, ensuring operational efficiency and customer safety.

Nir Sharatsky, CEO of Ituran, said:

“This collaboration with Shlomo Sixt — which operates in more than 100 countries — marks the beginning of a partnership with one of the world’s most prominent car rental networks. Shlomo Sixt serves tens of thousands of customers with vehicles available at hundreds of stations across Israel. This agreement reinforces our technological leadership in the global smart mobility market.”

Yuval Shani, CEO of Shlomo Innovation, highlighted the strategic value of the partnership:

“Shlomo Share is a fully digital car rental platform, offering customers complete self-service directly from their mobile phones. The collaboration with Ituranmob allows us to manage our fleet remotely through our app, creating an innovative, simple, and fast rental experience for customers across Israel.”
