Following the Corona crisis: Two fast tracks to support digitization and automation nationwide. The Investment Authority at the Ministry of Economy and Industry will help industrial enterprises make the transition to Industry 4.0-based manufacturing through participation in the risk involved in implementing advanced technologies.
The aid rate in the national area will be 20 percent and in the other regions of the country only 15%.
A bonus grant will be given at the rate of ten percent in the national area will be ten percent and in the other regions only 5%. 40% of the total budget will be allocated to requests in the main route. The remainder of the budget will be allocated to the fast lanes. In the main track, the investment ceiling will be NIS 10 million.
Nahum Itzkowitz, Director of the Investment Authority at the Ministry of Economy: "In some cases, special emphasis is given to two sub-routes that are designed to drive fast and short-term investments that deal with the corona crisis and the need for small and efficient investments in small and medium-sized enterprises.
An advanced production route allows ordinary industrial plants to make a leap forward in their production processes. This is a rare opportunity, as the route is also intended for industrial enterprises throughout the state. Also, there are no requirements for export that exist in Encouragement Law tracks. Enterprises that move to advanced production will develop the ability to cope with competition and enhance their ability to survive the waves of change currently underway in the industry. I read and ask the manufacturers who want and can, dare and enter the process of advanced production, we will help to the best of our ability. I go back to industrialists, don't hesitate, don't waste the opportunity to think differently. Anyone who does not move forward will stay behind and doubt whether he will survive and succeed. "
