Celebrating 70: More than 43,000 businesses did not survive in 2017

Posted on Apr 15, 2018 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Last year, a negative record was broken: more than 43,000 businesses did not survive. This is an alarming rate of five businesses per hour.
Etti Raz, CEO and founder of "all Club", the Consumer Club for the Self-Employed and Small Business Owners, claims that the State of Israel has apparently forgotten that 99 percent is actually the Israeli society itself, and suddenly turned the 70th anniversary into a celebration of the strong. The business sector, which is the State of Israel, is excluded, she says. taz emphesizes that the lack of participation of small and medium businesses in the 70s is a flaw in the state's priorities, and this is a large and flashing warning signal, indicating the poor priorities of the government and the Knesset.
According to her, the time has come to put an end to this and make a revolution in the state's attitude toward those who bear the burden and there is nothing like the 70's to do so.
