As a result of the opening of restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs, as part of the entrance to the Corona routine, the police and municipalities of Tel Aviv and Haifa have been working against places where the violet character rules, which limit the number of people and require a distance between them, have been implemented.
Over the past two days, Tel Aviv city officials have posted 20 reports of 5,000 each for restaurants and cafes for violating the rules.
Tel Aviv City Fire Chief Ron Huldai: "I have instructed municipal enforcement agencies to work uncompromisingly in implementing health guidelines. As we were determined in our position that businesses in the city should be opened to activity - so we will work resolutely for the protection of public health. And for food business owners, I reiterate as I said before: The responsibility for maintaining customer health is yours, and we will not allow the promiscuity as documented in some of the city's businesses. "
A senior municipality official added, "After the municipality has pushed with all the power to open them, it is important now that they do their part and follow the guidelines."
Last night, police closed three clubs in the Check Post area in Haifa because they acted contrary to the instructions. The owners were summoned to the hearing. Zebulun Station police conducted targeted enforcement activities at several Bay Area clubs. Police also called in to hear the owners of two other clubs where brawling took place.
