participation in the labor force in Israel is higher than in the developed world

A review of Bank Leumi shows that the rate of absorption of women into the Israeli labor market is the highest among the industrialized countries. The Bank's review shows that the unemployment rate in the domestic economy is one of the lowest in the developed world, while the rates of employment and participation in the labor force are higher than the average for these countries.
Data published in recent days by the International Monetary Fund indicate that the domestic economy is also positive for the rate of improvement. An examination of the data for 2016 compared to 2008 shows that the general rate of participation in Israel rose by 1.3%, with only a slight improvement in Germany and the Czech Republic. The analysis of the data by gender indicates an increase in the participation rate of women in most of the developed countries in the same period, with a decline in this percentage among the male population. "Bank Leumi's chief economist Gil Baffman said, however, that this is not a significant decline compared with other developed countries" .
He noted that in Israel, the most significant increase was recorded in the participation rate of women in the labor force: 3.2% of the developed countries between 2008 and 2016. In developed countries such as Germany, Japan, Britain and France, there was a more moderate increase. In the United States, there was even a drop.
