Isaelis spent NIS 14.846 billion on credit in the 2 weeks before Passover

Data from the "Automatic Banking Services" company, which operates the central clearing system for credit cards in Israel revelas thatI Isaelis spent a total of NIS 14.846 billion on credit in the two weeks before Passover.
This is 20% higher than the amount spent by Israelis during the last two weeks before Passover last year. The company's data includes all transactions in credit cards in Israel that were made in more than 150,000 active funds and terminals.
The number of transactions in credit for Passover rose 17.5% this year compared with last year. During this period, 67.85 million transactions were recorded in ATM systems, compared with 57.73 million transactions during this period last year.
The average amount for a credit transaction also rose during the period under review compared to last year's holiday: NIS 218.81 was the average amount this year and last year the average amount was NIS 214.38.
