Cheers to a Record: Palace Modi'in Resident Exhibits Israel’s Largest Beer Glass Collection

A special and spirited exhibition is currently on display at the Palace Modi'in assisted living home, showcasing Israel’s largest beer glass collection — nearly 500 unique beer glasses from over 40 countries around the world.

The collection belongs to Shevah Langevitz, a long-time beer enthusiast and resident of the home, who has spent over 45 years gathering beer glasses during his travels and from global collectors. His impressive assortment features glasses from countries such as Czech Republic, England, Russia, France, Japan, Belgium, Germany, the United States, and many more.

From Passion to Public Display

The exhibition has drawn enthusiastic attention from residents and staff alike. Visitors not only admired the rare and colorful glassware but also raised a glass in celebration, enjoying a selection of quality beers in honor of Shevah’s lifelong passion.

Yigal Oren, CEO of Palace Modi'in, praised the unique display:

Whether or not the Guinness recognition is granted, the Palace Modi'in has already crowned Shevah Langevitz its very own beer connoisseur-in-chief.
