The average wage in October: NIS 10,501 - an increase of 2.1%

The average wage in October 2019 was NIS 10,501 - an increase of 2.1% compared to October last year. The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) released this on Sunday. Excluding the price index (ie, offsetting the effect of increases and decreases in the economy), this is an increase of 1.7% compared to the corresponding month last year.
In a yearly view, which does not take into account the seasonal differences, there was a decline, when the peak was measured in July - then the average salary was NIS 11,000 a month.

According to CBS data, there was a 0.2% decline in employee jobs in October compared to the same month in 2018, to 3,670 million.
