The governmet signed an agreement with Ramat-Gan to build more than 9000 apartments

The state, through the Israel Lands Authority (RMI), has signed a roof agreement with the city of Ramat Gan. The agreement constitutes a municipal plan for infrastructure development and strategic construction for the coming decade for both the new neighborhoods in the eastern city and through a renewal plan for the older neighborhoods and all residents of Ramat Gan. As part of the agreement, the state will move NIS 1.4 billion over the next few years, and in return the city will advance the construction of 9,122 apartments, of which 6,000 east of Highway 4. NIS 551 million will be allocated to the infrastructure.
"The development will focus on the construction of major new roads, the development of the National Park and Safari, the revitalization of open green areas, investment in old public buildings, the strengthening of the renewable East City connection to existing city neighborhoods by the construction of three bridges over Highway 4 and the development of Eastern neighborhoods. This development will generate additional revenue. Futures in favor of level and scale development that have not been in the last 30 years, "the chief executive's statement said.
Among the areas that will gain momentum following the agreement - the National Park and Safari (NIS 80 million investment), paving over 5.5 km of main roads (NIS 200 million). In addition, the agreement includes the development of the stock exchange area and the ambitious plan for the construction of three new towers, one of them. Which is planned to be the highest in the country. "In addition to the housing area, there are approximately 900,000 square meters of employment and commercial space, which will provide a profitable property tax that will be another significant revenue anchor for strengthening Ramat Gan's future economic strength," reads a statement issued by Rami.
"Carmel, it seems to me that you have been here 15 years. You have made Ramat Gan. This is a historic roof agreement. The State of Israel has no profit from an agreement that will be signed with Ramat Gan, Ramla or Lod. It is a profit of the city. Carmel stood here in tough negotiations. I thought He asked for too much and in the end he convinced me he wanted to see the city elsewhere. The city received a lot of money, "said Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon during the signing event.
