Transportation employees will conduct sanctions Sunday in protest over unilateral reforms

On Sunday noon between 11 am and 1 pm, Ministry of Transportation employees will hold informational meetings in all office units in the country. During these hours, there may be disruptions to the audience.
The measures are being taken in protest over unilateral reforms and moves, as the workers claim, which promotes the administration of the Ministry of Transport. The Histadrut and the workers are calling on the Ministry of Transport's management to return to the negotiating table and resolve the disputes with dialogue and agreement, in order to prevent the exacerbation of the measures.
The labor dispute was announced on December 3. The root of the problem is outrage from long-time employees for coming to an outsourced office without the necessary seniority and training, and staffing jobs they were supposed to staff.
There are several issues in the background of the conflict: the intention to privatize services in the meteorological service and the licensing authority; Transferring core jobs to outsourcing and hiring employees in contracts to circumvent collective agreements, while undermining the committee's organizational power; Transfer of administrative powers to outsourced employees in the Information Systems Unit and the Service Division.
More on the impasse in negotiations to sign a special collective bargaining agreement to improve the wages of the licensing offices; The said issues as well as conduct in good faith by the employer.
