A high-level delegation from Solidaridad International, led by its CEO and founder, Nico Rosin from the Netherlands and senior members of the organization's Indian arm, headed by Dr. Stadro Chetophay, signed a series of agreements with Israeli start-ups in the Agritech field.
The Agritech companies from Israel will be integrated into Solidaridad projects in India and around the world, and will help 6 million farmers in India alone by growing agricultural crops such as sugar cane and cotton while effectively utilizing the water. Solidrade will provide financing to the proof of feasibility stage and will help blue and white technologies penetrate the Indian market and world markets. Dr. Stadero Chetophayi noted that Israeli technology in the fields of water and agriculture can be of great help to India and many other countries in the world. An agreement was signed with Tevatronic, whose products will be integrated into sugarcane and organic cotton projects, in order to reduce the use of water and increase crop yields. And Tal Ya Agriculture Solutions, which developed a unique and durable tray that protects seedlings, reduces the need for irrigation, fertilizer, weeding and pest control, and increases production by tens of percent. In addition, a collaboration will be held with TerraVerde Agriculture, which will advise Solidarity on a large project for the cultivation of organic cotton. In addition, Solidaridad will cooperate with Startup Nation Central. The organizations will join hands in agricultural projects in India, where Solidrade will manage the field activities and guide the local farmers, and StartUp Central Central will support and coordinate the Israeli startups whose products will be integrated into the project.
