Nur Amar, CEO of the Club Hotel chain, has been elected Chairman of the Eilat Hotel Association, the organization announced this week. Amer brings more than three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, having served in senior management roles within both the Isrotel and Club Hotel chains.
Since 2017, Amer has led the Club Hotel chain as CEO, overseeing Club Hotel Eilat, Club Inn Eilat, and Club Hotel Tiberias.
The Eilat Hotel Association represents approximately 45 hotels operating in the city and plays a central role in coordinating marketing strategies and operational initiatives aimed at strengthening Eilat’s position as a leading tourist destination—both domestically and abroad. The association spearheads promotional events in target international markets and regularly hosts delegations of travel agents and journalists to showcase Eilat's attractions.
In a statement following his appointment, Amer expressed gratitude and a strong commitment to advancing Eilat’s tourism sector.
“I am grateful for the privilege of serving as Chairman of the Eilat Hotel Association,” he said. “I see great importance in strengthening the hotel industry in Eilat as a key driver of tourism and economic growth for the city.”
Amar’s appointment comes at a time when Eilat is working to rebound from global travel disruptions and renew its appeal to both Israeli and international travelers.
