Some 3,000 medical and public health labs employees across the country will go on strike on Thursday, working in a part-time style like on a weekend. As part of the strike, all medical laboratories in public hospitals, provincial health ministries and public health laboratories will be discontinued throughout the country, including community health laboratories, which carry out blood, urine and other tests. There may even be disruptions in the operation of the operating room and in hospital hospital examinations.
There will also be no daily checks for drinking water monitoring, bathing water, swimming pools, and bathing water; And tests for disease outbreaks, food poisoning and more.
The workers, who are incorporated into the Federation of Microbiologists, Biochemists and Laborers belonging to the General Historia, are protesting about unusual workloads, insufficient pay conditions and more. The strike will not include lab activities in emergency rooms, intensive care units, premature babies, oncology and fertility units.
Chairman of the Microbiologists, Biochemists and Laboratory Staff, Esther Edmon: "I urge the Treasury and Health Ministry officials to wake up and resolve the crisis before it's too late. Public health is at stake here. The medical laboratories and public health laboratories may not collapse, and no government official will give it any thought and will not change the situation. "
