Elbit reports: A new deal worth $ 127 million in South Asian country

Elbit Systems reported a new deal worth $ 127 million to provide tactical radio systems for the use of a South Asian country's ground forces.
In its announcement to Elbit Systems, Elbit Systems did not detail the country in question, but according to security sources, the report relates to the ground forces of India.
As part of the deal, Elbit's radios will include several configurations and will be installed on a wide range of armored combat vehicles, including APCs and tanks at the battalion and company levels. The products will be supplied over a period of three years by Elbit's communications and cyber communications division, which was established as part of the internal reorganization that the company made after completing the acquisition of IMI Systems from the state at the end of last year.

Elbit has more industrial activities and partnerships with companies in India: At the end of 2018, it signed a memorandum of understanding with Ashok Layland, the major supplier of military vehicles to the Indian army as part of military vehicle cooperation.
