Maccabi Tel Aviv Hosts VIP Evening Ahead of New Season

Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club hosted a VIP event on Saturday night at Menora Mivtachim Arena, bringing together supporters, guests and members of the club for an evening ahead of the new basketball season.

During the event, the team's players were presented to the invited guests on the arena's court.

Among those attending were Eli Sharabi, a survivor of captivity in Gaza, and his brother Sharon Sharabi, both longtime supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The brothers met Zvi Wilder, a communications adviser associated with the club, who welcomed them and wished them a Gmar Chatima Tova and a happy and peaceful New Year.

A Shared Passion for Maccabi

During the meeting, Wilder expressed the hope that the club's supporters would continue to stand behind the team throughout the coming season.

The gathering also highlighted the connection between Maccabi Tel Aviv and its supporters, with the club preparing for another season combining domestic competition in Israel with the demands of the EuroLeague.

“We will cheer together for the team and hope for achievements both in the Israeli Premier League and in the EuroLeague,” Wilder said.

Looking Ahead to a New Season

The VIP evening provided supporters with an opportunity to meet the players on the court at Menora Mivtachim Arena and mark the beginning of another competitive season for one of Israel's most prominent basketball clubs.

For the Sharabi brothers, both Maccabi supporters, the meeting added a personal dimension to an evening centered on sport, community and the shared anticipation of the season ahead.
