Posted on Jun 27, 2026 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Dan Hotels' catering company, Idit, has announced a new culinary collaboration with Chef Golan Israeli, Executive Chef of the Dan Accadia Resort, to introduce a special Asian-inspired lunch menu for Summer 2026.
The seasonal initiative will bring a selection of contemporary Asian dishes to approximately 25 major workplaces across Israel, offering employees a restaurant-quality dining experience inspired by the cuisines of Thailand and Japan.
A Culinary Journey Across the Far East
The exclusive menu blends authentic Asian flavors with modern culinary techniques, creating dishes that draw inspiration from the vibrant street markets of the Far East.
According to the organizers, the menu combines the balanced heat of Thai cuisine with the refined simplicity of Japanese cooking, while incorporating premium ingredients and contemporary presentation.
Each dish has been designed as a personal interpretation of traditional Asian flavors, merging culinary heritage with modern Israeli creativity.
Inspired by the Streets of Bangkok
Chef Golan Israeli said the concept was inspired by the sights, aromas, and energy of Bangkok's bustling street markets.
The menu reflects flavors associated with lemongrass, wok cooking, aromatic herbs, and bold seasoning, reimagined through a fine-dining perspective and adapted for large-scale corporate catering.
The collaboration aims to deliver an elevated dining experience without compromising operational efficiency across multiple catering locations.
Available at 25 Corporate Dining Centers
The new lunch series, titled "The Kingdom of Siam and the Rising Sun," will be served throughout Summer 2026 at approximately 25 corporate dining facilities operated by Idit.
The company says the project is part of its ongoing strategy to introduce rotating international culinary concepts to workplace restaurants.
Building on Dan Hotels' Culinary Expertise
Ran Katzman said the new menu represents another exclusive innovation for Idit's catering operations.
"The 'Kingdom of Siam and the Rising Sun' lunch series is another exclusive addition to Idit's dining sites, drawing on the culinary knowledge and experience of Dan Hotels," Katzman said.
Continuing a Tradition of Global Cuisine
The Asian initiative follows a series of successful themed menus introduced by Idit in recent years, highlighting international cuisines including Ethiopian, Italian, and South American gastronomy.
The company says these rotating concepts are designed to diversify workplace dining while exposing customers to authentic flavors from around the world.
One of Israel's Largest Catering Providers
Idit, part of the Dan Hotels Group, is among Israel's leading institutional catering companies.
The company serves approximately 75,000 meals every day at workplaces and organizations nationwide, generates annual revenue exceeding ₪400 million, and employs around 1,300 chefs, cooks, and kitchen professionals.
The latest collaboration underscores the growing trend of bringing high-end culinary experiences into corporate dining environments, as employers increasingly invest in enhancing employee well-being through premium food offerings.
