Physical Education Students Conduct Health and Balance Assessments at Palace Tel Aviv

Students specializing in posture and movement studies from Kibbutzim College recently visited Palace Tel Aviv, the assisted living residence operated by the Azrieli Group, as part of a collaborative wellness initiative focused on promoting healthy aging and physical well-being.

The visit provided residents with personalized assessments while offering students valuable hands-on experience in applying their academic training within a community setting.

Orthopedic and Balance Evaluations Tailored

During the event, the students conducted a series of orthopedic and balance assessments for residents. Based on the findings, each participant received individualized exercise recommendations and guidance designed to support mobility, stability, and overall physical fitness.

The recommendations were tailored to complement the wide range of sports and wellness activities already offered at Palace Tel Aviv, helping residents maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

Professional Knowledge with Community Engagement

Organizers said the initiative created a meaningful opportunity for knowledge-sharing and collaboration between generations. The program combined professional expertise, practical experience, and community involvement while fostering personal connections between students and residents.

The encounter highlighted the growing importance of preventive health measures and personalized physical activity programs in senior living communities.

"A Meaningful Experience of Learning and Connection"

Hila Dotan, Sports Director at Palace, praised the success of the initiative and the contribution made by the students.

"It was a wonderful and inspiring meeting filled with mutual learning, connecting professional knowledge, community engagement, and intergenerational relationships. We thank everyone for their cooperation, openness, warmth, professionalism, sensitivity, and dedication," Dotan said.

Strengthening Active Aging Through Partnerships

The collaboration between Kibbutzim College and Palace Tel Aviv reflects a broader effort to promote active aging through partnerships that combine academic expertise with community-based care. Both organizers and participants expressed hope that similar initiatives will continue in the future, benefiting residents while providing valuable practical experience for the next generation of health and fitness professionals.
