ASSA ABLOY Israel Installs Digital Personal Safes for Maccabi Tel Aviv Rapyd Basketball Team

ASSA ABLOY Israel has completed the installation of 20 digital personal safes in the locker room of the Maccabi Tel Aviv Rapyd basketball team, providing players and coaching staff with secure storage for personal belongings.

The project, led by ASSA ABLOY Israel CEO Avi Kamchi, features digital safes manufactured by MultiLock, designed to offer enhanced protection and convenience. Each safe is operated באמצעות a personal access code ranging from three to eight digits, allowing users to store valuables and personal equipment during practices and games securely.

Players Welcome Added Peace of Mind

Speaking at the launch event, Maccabi Tel Aviv player Gur Lavi said the new system would allow team members to focus fully on their performance.

"Now we can go into games and training sessions with peace of mind, knowing that all of our personal belongings are secure," Lavi said.

Team officials noted that the installation is intended to improve the day-to-day experience of players and staff by providing a dedicated and secure storage solution within the locker room environment.

The system is designed to help safeguard personal items, electronics, documents, and other valuables while team members are engaged in training sessions, meetings, and competitive games.

The project represents a collaboration between ASSA ABLOY Israel, MultiLock, and one of Israel's most prominent professional sports organizations, underscoring the growing role of advanced security technologies in professional athletics.
