DEEPAL Expands Israeli Lineup with New S05 Plug-in Hybrid SUV

Following the strong commercial success of the DEEPAL S05 electric SUV in Israel, importer Motion Industries Group has launched the new DEEPAL S05 PHEV, a plug-in hybrid variant designed to combine electric driving with extended long-distance capability.

The launch comes after the sale of approximately 2,600 DEEPAL S05 vehicles in Israel since the model's introduction in October 2025. According to the company, the model has recorded significant growth within Israel’s electric vehicle segment, prompting the expansion of the lineup with a plug-in hybrid offering.

Up to 100 Kilometers of Electric Driving

The DEEPAL S05 PHEV is aimed at drivers seeking the benefits of daily electric mobility without concerns over charging infrastructure or range limitations.

The vehicle offers an all-electric driving range of up to 100 kilometers (WLTP), allowing many drivers to complete their daily commuting needs using electric power alone. The manufacturer states that the range is sufficient for journeys such as Tel Aviv to Haifa without activating the gasoline engine.

Combined with its hybrid powertrain, the vehicle delivers a total driving range of up to 1,060 kilometers according to manufacturer testing data.

320 Horsepower and Sub-8-Second Acceleration

The new model is powered by a plug-in hybrid system that combines:

According to the manufacturer, combined fuel consumption under hybrid operation is rated at 2.03 liters per 100 kilometers.
