Milotel Expands Beyond Fries, Launches New Frozen Vegetables and Legumes Line
Posted on Jun 10, 2026 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Israeli frozen food company Milotel has announced the launch of its first-ever range of frozen vegetables and legumes, marking a significant expansion beyond its well-established premium frozen fries business.
The new product line is designed to provide consumers with convenient, high-quality culinary solutions that reduce preparation time while maintaining freshness and nutritional value.
Four New Products Introduced in Initial Rollout
The first phase of the launch includes four products:
Frozen Vegetables
- Frozen Broccoli Florets – cleaned and ready for cooking, steaming, or baking.
- Frozen Cauliflower – pre-cleaned and prepared for blanching, cooking, or roasting, eliminating the need for advance preparation.
Cooked and Frozen Legumes
- Frozen Chickpeas – pre-soaked and cooked, ready for immediate use in a variety of dishes.
- Frozen White Beans – fully cooked and designed for quick and convenient meal preparation.
All products are sold in 800-gram packages and are certified under the Beit Yosef kosher standard.
Strategic Growth Move
According to Avi Levy of Milotel, the expansion builds on the company's success in the frozen fries category.
“Approximately two years ago, we successfully launched the Milotel brand with our frozen fries range and achieved a market share of around 20% in the category. Expanding into frozen vegetables and legumes is a natural step in our continued growth strategy. We remain committed to offering Israeli consumers high-quality, accessible, and competitively priced products while positioning Milotel as one of the leading companies in the frozen food sector,” Levy said.
Strengthening Presence in the Frozen Food Market
The company said the new product line represents another milestone in its long-term growth strategy, aimed at broadening its product portfolio and offering consumers a wider range of convenient frozen food solutions.
Milotel’s vegetables and legumes, like its frozen fries products, will be distributed nationwide through Diplomat, one of Israel’s leading food distribution companies.
The launch reflects growing consumer demand for convenient, ready-to-use ingredients that combine quality, versatility, and time-saving benefits. Industry observers view the move as an important step in Milotel’s efforts to strengthen its position within Israel’s highly competitive frozen food market while expanding beyond its core fries business.
