Gold Mall in Rishon Lezion Unveils New “Platinum Floor” in $100 Million Expansion

Kenyon HaZahav is set to open a new “Platinum Floor” this June, following an investment of approximately 100 million shekels, in a move aimed at strengthening its position as one of Israel’s leading retail destinations.

The new level will feature a flagship store by Adidas spanning approximately 400 square meters, alongside a range of brands entering the mall for the first time.

Among the confirmed retailers are Flying Tiger Copenhagen, Parfois, Minene, Shoofra, Soho and Happy Lemon, among others.

Mall management said additional international brands are expected to be announced at a later stage.

12,000 Square Meters of Experiential Retail

The Platinum Floor will cover approximately 12,000 square meters and include around 30 anchor stores, large-format flagship outlets, and advanced retail concepts.

It will also feature a dedicated 1,800-square-meter kiosk complex with 12 designed stalls, offering a mix of food, lifestyle, and specialty retail.

Focus on Design and Customer Experience

The new floor has been designed with an emphasis on open spaces, modern aesthetics, and an enhanced shopping experience. A 35-meter-high ceiling is intended to maximize natural light and create a sense of spaciousness.

Developers say the concept reflects a broader global trend toward experiential retail, combining shopping, leisure, design, and technology to meet the expectations of modern consumers.

Positioning for a Changing Retail Landscape

According to mall officials, strong demand from retailers and high rental prices underscore the attractiveness of the new space.

The expansion is part of a broader strategy to adapt to evolving retail dynamics and reinforce the mall’s national standing in an increasingly competitive market.
