Due to a fault in the railway electrification network in the Herzliya area, and for the purpose of repair, traffic in the area was partially stopped and there are changes and delays in train traffic until the repair is completed.
Israel Railways announced that due to the incident, congestion is expected at the coastal line stations with an emphasis on Netanya and Herzliya, and we recommend examining the use of alternative public transportation. It was promised that more updates would be provided later.
The Israel Railways also announced that due to track maintenance work, there will be changes to train traffic in the Haifa area on Friday 7/14/23 and Tuesday 7/15/23. These days the main stations of the Gulf, Chutzat Hamfaretz, Kiryat Haim, Kiryat Motzkin, Acre, Nahariya, Achihud, Karmiel , Yokneam Kfar Yehoshua, Migdal Hamek Kfar Baruch, Afula Raphael Eitan and Beit Shan will be temporarily closed to train traffic.
Friday 14.7.23:
Trains on the Nahariya-Be'er Sheva line - will be operated between the Beer Sheva and Haifa stations in the center of the eight only and will not stop at the main stations of Hafaretz, Chutzat Hafaretz, Kiryat Haim, Kiryat Motzkin, Acre and Nahariya. Trains on the Beit Shean-Atlit and Karmiel-Haifa HaCarmel lines will not be operated.
Trains on the Beit Shean-Atlit, Karmiel-Haifa Coast of Carmel, Nahariya-Haifa Coast of Carmel lines will not be operated. These days, Israel Railways will operate a system of free shuttles at the following stations: Haifa Beach HaCarmel, Haifa Center Hashmona, Kiryat Motzkin, Karmiel, Acre, Nahariya, Yokneam Kfar Yehoshua, Migdal HaEmek Kfar Baruch, Afula Rafael Eitan, Beit Shean.
Train traffic will return to normal on Sunday 7/16/23 with the resumption of service. Train passengers are advised to update themselves on the details on the website, the app, or the telephone service center at *5770.
