In February-April 2023 there was a 19% decrease in the sale of new apartment

According to a review by the Central Bureau of Statistics, in the three months of February-April 2023, there was a 19% decrease in the sale of new apartments, compared to the previous three months. According to the data, only 6,890 apartments were sold.
About a quarter of the new apartments sold in the last three months were government subsidized, compared to 19% of the total sales in the previous three months.

Most of the apartments sold are in the South District (2,187), the Central District (1,383), and the Tel Aviv District (1,020). The smallest amount of units sold in these months is in Judea and Samaria, where only 170 units were sold. A significant decrease can be noted In demand in the Haifa area - 729 together compared to 1,280 in the three months before.
The segmentation of the apartments sold by settlements shows that Nitiv has become a hit and is a leader at a national level. In the months of January-April, 792 apartments were sold in the city compared to 106 between the months of November-January. In Netanya, on the other hand, only 170 apartments were sold in the three months, a decrease of about 46% compared to the previous three months.
At the end of April 2023, the number of new apartments remaining for sale was about 55,420 apartments. 29.6% of them in the Tel Aviv district (16,401 apartments) and 23.9% in the Central district (13,253 apartments). Haifa, North and Yosh districts have the smallest amount of apartments left for sale.
