Partner Communications Launches New Retail Division to Boost Growth

Posted on Dec 18, 2024 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Partner Communications Group announced yesterday the establishment of a new retail division to enhance the company’s retail and store operations. The division, which combines trade and retail functions into a single unit, will be led by Roni Erel-Ginsburg, who has been with Partner for the past year and a half. Before this, Erel-Ginsburg managed the trade and end-user equipment division under Deputy CEO Deganit Kramer.

The creation of the retail division is seen as a key growth initiative for the company, as Partner aims further to strengthen its presence in the competitive communications market. The new structure is designed to streamline operations and boost efficiency, with a focus on accelerating growth in the retail sector.

Retail Expansion and Customer-Centric Strategies

The move to centralize retail operations under a dedicated division is part of Partner’s broader strategy to increase its retail points of sale across Israel and enhance the customer experience. According to the company's recent financial statements, there has been a notable increase in sales of end-user equipment, with both revenue and profitability showing positive growth.

Erel-Ginsburg has been instrumental in driving initiatives aimed at improving customer service and expanding Partner's retail offerings. These include the launch of the company’s "Private Care" repair service, which provides customers with special benefits such as free screen repairs. The service also offers an easy, digital way for customers to track the status of their devices under repair, as well as support via WhatsApp. In addition, Partner has introduced a three-year warranty on new device purchases, strengthening its commitment to providing value-added services to its customers.

Experienced Leadership from Roni Erel-Ginsburg

Before joining Partner, Roni Erel-Ginsburg served as the manager of the Life private brand at Super-Pharm, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s strategy and communication. Her experience in brand development and customer engagement is expected to help drive Partner’s retail division forward as the company seeks to deepen its relationships with customers and enhance its market position.

CEO Avi Gabbay: "A Key Growth Engine"

Partner CEO Avi Gabbay emphasized the significance of the new division in the company’s long-term growth strategy. "The establishment of the retail division will improve the effectiveness of our operations and help us realize our full potential in this important field," Gabbay said. He added that the company’s focus on retail expansion and customer service would be central to driving continued success in the competitive telecom sector.

With the new division in place, Partner Communications is poised to strengthen its retail footprint and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the communications market, positioning itself for sustained growth in the coming years.
