Partner TV is preparing for changes in the television market in Israel with the entry of streaming services Disney Plus

Posted on May 5, 2022 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Partner TV is preparing for changes in the television market in Israel with the entry of streaming services Disney Plus, HBO Max, and possibly Keshet and RGE, and is relaunching its service under the name FUTURE TV for NIS 49 per month. This is a content app that does not require renting a streamer from the company.
Partner offers to buy a streamer from it for NIS 290 - a not-insignificant price for a streamer that can also be bought for less than NIS 200. At the same time, Partner is still offering its service at the previous price with a converter rental and technician installation.
The price is not necessarily in line because there are already TV services in this price arena in Israel: HOT's Next starting at NIS 29 per month and Yes' Sting TV starting at NIS 59 per month. At the same time, Partner is preparing for the near future where a single TV service will not cost more than NIS 200 per month. However, this does not mean that the consumer will not pay like this if he subscribes to a number of content apps.
The company said that it saves the consumer installation costs and a technician and gives consumers space in the wallet for international content applications. The app is available for Android devices.
"Partner TV FUTURE includes content channels, recording option, VOD service, Up Catch service up to 14 days back and Linking Deep that offers targeted content from a variety of apps on the home screen. The service allows use of up to five means of viewing and the price does not depend on period" .
