Bank Leumi 3rd Q net profit NIS 936 million - 14% growth

Bank Leumi ended the third quarter of 2018 with a positive 14% growth in net profit, which stood at NIS 936 million, reflecting a quarterly return on equity of 11.2%, compared with 10.3% in the corresponding quarter last year.
In the first nine months of 2018, the Bank's profits grew by 10% to NIS 2.57 billion, resulting in a return on capital of 10.2% for the period, compared with 9.7% at the end of September 2017.
At the same time, the board of directors of Bank Leumi approved the distribution of a dividend of 40% of the Bank's net profit, reflecting NIS 375 million, bringing the cumulative dividend distributed by the Bank since the beginning of the year to NIS 1 billion.
