Rada Electronic Industries, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of tactical radar for the maneuvering force, reports that it has received orders worth $ 5 million in the past few weeks.
The orders are for RADA's software-based radar shields from mortar shells, short-range missiles and artillery (C-RAM), anti-aircraft systems and short-range air defense (SHORAD). "These new customers are strategic customers in the military systems sector, and the orders received reflect first sales, following which Rada expects to receive significant follow-up orders in the future.
Rada is expected to deliver these orders by the end of 2018.
Dov Sela, CEO of RADA said: "These orders are the fruits of our continued efforts in business development worldwide. The fact that these orders constitute an initial penetration of new customers has significant potential for large volume orders. The tactical radar market is a new and evolving market, and we expect follow-up orders from these customers in the near future in view of their immediate needs for the solutions we offer. "
Rada Electronic Industries Ltd. is an electronic military systems company specializing in the development, production, marketing and sales of tactical ground radars for the use of defense forces, borders and strategic facilities, and avionics systems (including inertial navigation systems) for combat aircraft and UAVs.
