Construction worker, died after falling from a height of 4 stories at a construction site

Muhammad Kamal Agbaria (40 years old) Mazalfa, a construction worker, died on Tuesday after falling from a height of 4 stories at a construction site in Shoham.
He was evacuated to Sheba Hospital, where he died of his wounds. According to Kav LaOved, the contractor operates Shlomo Kaufman Ltd. The site was closed for 48 hours and the police opened an investigation.
In another accident in Ashkelon, another building worker was seriously injured when he dismantled iron bars. A third worker was moderately injured in Beit Shemesh.
Since the beginning of the year, 33 people have been killed in road accidents, two of them bystanders and the rest are laborers. More than 100 were seriously and moderately injured. Most deaths and serious injuries are caused by falling from a height.
On Sunday, the Histadrut announced a labor dispute against the background of the large number of accidents in the construction industry. It plans to open a strike in the public and private sector two weeks later, if its demands are not met, including changing the existing scaffolding standard to the more advanced European standard.
