IAI will establish a conversion site for 777-ERSF Big Twin aircraft to cargo planes

IAI's Aviation Division signed a memorandum of understanding this morning with Sharp Technics (Sharp) and Incheon International Airport to establish a conversion site for 777-ERSF Big Twin aircraft. As part of the collaboration, IAI plans to convert from 2024 about six Boeing 777-300ERs, and LR777-200s per year. The establishment of conversion sites around the world is required in response to the expected demand for wide-body cargo planes with long flight range.
IAI's Aviation Division is currently developing the conversion of 777s, whose licensing process is expected to be completed during 2023.
