Canadian trade minister has upgraded the trade agreement with Israel

Minister of Economy Eli Cohen met with Canadian Trade Minister Jim Carr during his visit to Israel, a visit designed to recognize Israeli industry. This is the first meeting of the two ministers.
Jim Carr is a Canadian Jew who entered politics in 1986. He came to Israel at the head of a business delegation. In the first half of the year exports to Canada totaled NIS 492 million, an increase of 61% compared to the first half of the previous year. Imports from Canada in the first half totaled NIS 159 million.
