Israeli "Agent Vi" developed solutions that enable real-time video of security threats

Posted on Aug 23, 2018 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

One of the most frightening issues related to the education system is the violence in schools and ways to deal with it. This can be the violence that occurs between students, vandalism toward property or the result of the infiltration of hostile elements into the school. Blue-and-white technological development of the Israeli start-up Agent Vi helps to make order within the walls of the schools.
Agent Vi has developed artificial intelligence solutions that enable real-time video and image analysis, identification of security threats, unusual occurrence, identification of attackers and more. The solutions have been installed to date in more than 4,500 institutions and organizations in 90 countries around the world, including schools.
A prominent project in this field is the computerized video security system, which is used to secure the St. Stephen Wise campus in Los Angeles, where 1,700 students study.
Agent Vi's solutions actually transform the camera system, which already exists in many schools, from a set of "stupid cameras" that document cases of violence and enable the retrieval of films retroactively into an array of "smart cameras" that alert in real time during the occurrence of the event and deal with it as it occurs. In fact, the development of the company allows the camera to become a coated and documented event, to analyze the events in real time, alerts the occurrence and allows treatment of school management or security officials.
The company's CEO will explain how advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision can be raised to improve the security of video systems, provide real-time alerts and save lives in an era of rising violence in schools, and explain the differences between different video systems Security, and why installing a video system in itself does not guarantee good security at schools.
