Posted on Dec 17, 2024 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Ad 120, a leading chain of assisted living facilities, has announced the acquisition of the Gil Paz Home in Kfar Saba for NIS 126 million. The deal, which marks the first acquisition for Ad 120, significantly bolsters the company’s presence in the Sharon region, a key area for the chain’s expansion.

Gil Paz Home, which houses 240 units, was previously owned by 140 military personnel, many of whom are former Air Force veterans. The average payout for each shareholder in the deal will be just under NIS 1 million. The facility’s sale to Ad 120 is part of the company’s strategic efforts to expand its footprint in the growing assisted living sector.

Expansion Plans in the Assisted Living Sector
Ad 120, owned by Shapir Engineering and Phoenix, already operates three assisted living homes in Tel Aviv, Hod Hasharon, and Rishon LeZion. Along with the Gil Paz acquisition, the company is actively expanding its portfolio, with an assisted living home under construction in Modi'in, expected to open by 2026. In addition, the chain is building new facilities in Kiryat Motzkin, Jerusalem, and Ness Ziona.

Ambitious Growth Targets
By 2030, Ad 120 plans to double the number of assisted living homes it operates, solidifying its leadership in the sector. The company’s strategic focus is on providing high-quality, innovative housing solutions for seniors, which it believes is crucial for meeting the growing demand for assisted living in Israel.

Tomer Rosenberg, CEO of Ad 120, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, "The acquisition of Gil Paz Home reflects the expansion of the Ad 120 network and our vision to lead an innovative residential concept for seniors. We will continue to provide the high-quality residential experience that characterizes the chain's homes."

With its growing portfolio of properties, Ad 120 is positioning itself as a key player in the assisted living market, aiming to set new standards for senior living in Israel.
