Klil and Ort Marom School Partner to Support Acre’s Needy Families Through Skilled Youth Training

Posted on Jul 30, 2025 by Ifi Reporter - Dan Bielski

Klil Industries, a leading aluminum company based in Karmiel, has partnered with Ort Marom School in Acre in a meaningful social contribution project that blends vocational training, community service, and educational empowerment.

Through this unique collaboration, Klil provides students with professional training in aluminum work—guiding them step-by-step through the entire window production process. From raw materials to finished installation, students gain real-world experience in manufacturing and construction.

From Workshop to Home: Helping Families in Need

The highlight of the program is its social impact. The raw materials, donated by Klil, are transformed by the students into fully functional windows. These windows are then installed in the homes of underprivileged families in Acre, improving living conditions while giving students a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

This creates a powerful cycle of giving: Klil contributes materials and expertise, students gain skills and confidence, and the community receives direct, tangible benefits.

Educators and Leaders Applaud the Initiative

Anat Rubo, principal of Ort Marom, praised the initiative, stating:
“The collaboration with Klil gives our students a rare opportunity to experience the world of work, learn from leading professionals, and give back to the community. The program builds self-confidence, values, and essential life skills.”

Zuri Dabush, Chairman of Klil, echoed the sentiment:
“Connecting with the younger generation and combining professional development with social impact is a central part of Klil’s vision. We are proud to see the students grow, develop, and contribute to the city of Acre.”

A Commitment to Community Investment

Klil places strong emphasis on corporate social responsibility. Each year, the company allocates approximately 200,000 NIS to community initiatives, with a focus on education, empowerment, and support for vulnerable populations.

This program with Ort Marom is a shining example of how businesses and schools can work hand-in-hand to foster professional growth and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
