Orbit will upgrade service and maintenance of US KC-135 aircraft communications management systems

Orbit, which is engaged in satellite communications, surveillance systems and communications and audio systems, has announced that it has won a tender to upgrade service and maintenance for ADAS airborne communications management systems on US Air Force KC-135 aircraft. The total value of the transaction is approximately NIS 109 million.
According to the agreement, the company will provide service to internal communication systems and upgrade the operating units in the KC-135 aircraft over a period of 60 months, enabling the US Air Force to continue to enjoy the high level of maintenance and quality performance of its advanced communication systems. The award was posted on the US Department of Defense website.
Orbit CEO Eitan Livneh said that he was pleased to receive a large frame from this strategic customer, attesting to the satisfaction of the US Air Force with the Orbit systems, and the great trust that the US Air Force has in the service of Orbit
