Sergeant Major Ephraim Ben Amram died of his wound - injured in a UAV attack

Sergeant Major (resp.) Ephraim Ben Amram (25), a fighter in the 53rd Battalion of the "Barak" formation (188), died of his wounds today (Thursday) about two weeks after he was severely injured in a UAV attack at a base in the Golan Heights. By the side of the late Ephraim, A resident of Yesod HaMa'ala, 16 other reservists were moderately and lightly injured at the time.
Yuval Ohana, who was moderately injured by the UAV explosion, said after the incident that "there was a warning a few seconds before the impact. We ran to Migunit - and the UAV landed in the assembly center at the base."
Yosef Haim ben Amram, the father of Efraim ben Amram, said after the attack that "Efraim has been in the reserves for four months, this is not an easy sentence at all. She is exposed and the tools are exposed." He added that "there was no time to react, the sector is very close to Hezbollah. When we arrived at the hospital, we realized the severity of the injury. Then the Major General and the Major came, they told us that an investigation was underway and they informed us about what was possible. We understood from them that the sector is less hot than Gaza, but Not simple. Ephraim underwent a very complex operation on his head."
At the time, the father also said that his son Ephraim, the fifth of 11 children, is the fifth generation of a family of farmers at the base of the Ma'ale. "He is a guy who likes to help, likes to help us in agriculture as well. In general, he is a very positive guy with a very positive soul. He traveled the world - and returned to the reserves. I love him very much." According to him, "All the children at my place were proud to go to the reserves. Brother Yonatan is also a fighter, he recently finished serving in Gaza in an elite unit. Ephraim is paying the price of Israeliness with pride, and we are waiting for recovery."
In the local council, the foundation of the Ma'ale paid tribute to Ephraim, a son of the Yishuv. "It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the death of the late Sgt. Efraim Ben Amram who was hit in the Golan Heights by a UAV strike at the end of June. Ephraim is the son of Lilach Hana and Yosef Haim ben Amram and the brothers of Jonah, Nehemiah Amram, Aharon Mordechai, Shulamit, Yonatan, Shemaya Zvi, Menachem Zion, Shimon, Yale Chen and Yehuda. The council participates in the grief of the family members and embraces them in their difficult time," the council's announcement reads.
