"Anonymous" launched attacks on several Israeli Internet sites

The hacker group "Anonymous" launched an attack on several Internet sites in Israel. Among other things, the teachers' website was changed. On the home page was a picture taken Friday in clashes on the Gaza Strip border with the caption "Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine. In addition were attacked the sites of the municipalities of Kfar Saba, Herzliya, Eilat and Acre, the Gan Yavne Local Council, the Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera and the Israeli Opera site.
On the home pages of the vandalized sites it says that "Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine". Apparently Arab hackers are behind the attack. Anyone who enters the Teachers' Union website hears the voices of a muezzin. Alongside the caption "Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine," it is written in Arabic: "Do not forget our martyrs."
The hacker group Anonymous also promised this year to launch a cyber attack against Israeli sites. This is due to Israel's attitude toward the "Palestinian nation". The Israeli systems track the attackers and update them in real time on their activities.
As part of the organization's psychological warfare, the list of sites the hackers intend to attack was published. Among other things, various government ministries, news sites, the police site, the courts and many other sites are noted.
Some of the Israeli websites have begun preparing for the attack in order to prevent a significant blow to infrastructure.
In recent years, on April 7, hackers have joined the organization and tried to attack government sites, large companies, and steal and reveal information in order to intimidate Israeli citizens. Airlines, government agencies, the military and the police are all targets for them, but most of the attacks are halted.
