UPS in Israel The representative of the world's largest shipping company is launching an innovation incubator designed to foster cooperation with local technology entrepreneurs and start-ups as part of UPS's digital strategy in Israel. The venture was born as part of UPS 's innovation concept in Israel, where we constantly challenge ourselves to lead the cutting edge of logistics and the supply chain.

The innovation lab began operating at the beginning of the year and is currently recruiting technological initiatives in the following areas: Fleet efficiency, Click and collect, e-commerce and cross-border solutions, payment systems, , smart packaging technology, Internet and IOT, location based services (LBS), scanners and more.
One of the major advantages of the HUB will be the opening of international markets to Israeli companies and their connection to relevant customers related to UPS in the US, Asia and Europe.
UPS, which is the first company in Israel to set up a technological incubator, will offer starters who develop advanced digital technologies the possibility to expand and deepen their market through the services offered by the company as part of improving customer experience. Some of the technologies will be marketed as a shelf product and some will be integrated into existing products and services.
"The world is becoming smaller and more available for billions of customers," said Ronen Cohen, vice president of marketing and sales at UPS Israel. The e-commerce revolution requires all market players to adopt models of innovation to meet the existing needs of consumers who want to get their product in the easiest, fastest and most friendly way. "
"The challenges are great, but with the opportunities," said Shai Guttman, VP of technology at UPS Israel and director of the innovation incubator. And one of the important components of the current revolution is the expansion of internal organizational tools and capabilities through such open innovation that comes from the outside and creates a digital ecosystem of cooperation and mutual empowerment. "
