We are investing in the unique challenges of the cyber industry, with a forward-looking view. Believes that a significant part of the investment will be directed to strengthening the National Cyber Campus in Be'er Sheva in order to continue to be a global hub for pilgrimage in the field. "I am confident that together with our partners in the Authority for Innovation we will help the Israeli industry continue to stand at the forefront of global technological innovation in cyberspace.
The program consists of three parts: investment in technologies with global "game-play" potential; financial support in companies that pass from the development stage to the experimental and demonstration phase; and the channeling of resources to strengthen the national cyber-city in Be'er Sheva.
As part of the program, companies in the cyber protection field will be able to receive financial support in two main tracks:
1. Support for breakthrough and long-term R & D - a track aimed at supporting the creation of technologies with a significant potential impact on the global market with the intention of creating technological anchors on which the Israeli industry will be based in the future.
The course is intended for Israeli technology companies in the cyber fields engaged in high-risk R & D.
Within the framework of the program, support of up to 66% of the research and development expenses in a given project and up to NIS 5 million per year can be obtained for the project.

2. Support for "pilots" - a track aimed at enabling the running of innovative cyber technologies and examining their feasibility on a material scale and among significant customers. Thus, the Company will be able to make significant progress in preparing the product for commercialization and to promote its penetration into the market through its implementation on the experimental site. Within the framework of this track you can obtain:

In terms of TRL-TECHNOLOGY READYNESS LEVEL, the goal of the program is to promote their TRL 4/5 validation in laboratory (TRL 4/5 validation in laboratory) to achieve real proof of the product after testing and demonstration (TLV 7/8 Actual system qualified through test & demonstration).
In addition, the National Cyber Network and the Innovation Authority will jointly promote the creation of thematic innovation areas in areas undergoing significant digital transformation that exposes them to cyber threats (such as health, transportation, finance, etc.), and will integrate international industrial players, regulators, academia and of course the cyber industry In order to jointly create solutions to the cyber challenges of tomorrow in these areas and to place Israel at the forefront of action.
The purpose of the new tracks is to encourage the growth and creation of complete and sustainable companies in cyberspace in Israel by promoting the development and commercialization of innovative technological solutions. This program is another step in the new support tracks of the Innovation Authority, in cooperation with government ministries and other government bodies, to support running programs in the fields of environmental protection, health and transportation.
Aharon Aharon, CEO of the Innovation Authority: "The local eco-system in cyberspace is well developed and highly respected in the world. Despite the many investments made by investors who expressed confidence in the local cyber market, we see that many companies find it difficult to find sites worthy of testing and running their products. We believe that the new program will provide a good solution to the issue and will significantly accelerate their penetration into the market and their growth as entire companies in Israel. "
