EasyJet, one of Europe's leading airlines, has unveiled its highly anticipated schedule for the winter of 2024/25. With over 18 million seats available on more than 100,000 flights between December 1, 2024, and March 2, 2025, travelers are urged to seize the opportunity to secure their bookings early for the best prices. Flights are currently available for purchase on the company's website and app.

In a strategic move, EasyJet will resume operations from Nabvi in Israel to several key destinations, including London (Luton), Amsterdam, Berlin, Basel, Geneva, and Milan. This marks the revival of several popular routes that had been temporarily suspended during recent disruptions.

Ellie Gayward, UK Area Manager at EasyJet, expressed enthusiasm about the announcement, stating, "We are delighted to announce our winter flight schedule today so customers can book now and enjoy great value fares. EasyJet is putting millions of seats on sale until March 2, 2025, offering over 500 routes from the UK to more than 130 destinations across Europe and beyond."

The timing of EasyJet's announcement coincides with the imminent departure of Rainier from Israel, which has resulted in the cancellation of all its flights for the months of March and April. However, travelers can anticipate the return of Wizz Air on March 1, with flights to six destinations in the initial phase. Additionally, there are expectations for the eventual return of the Irish low-cost carrier in May. If these plans materialize, all three major low-cost airlines will simultaneously operate in Israel, promising increased competition and expanded accessibility for travelers.

The resurgence of low-cost carriers in Israel is seen as significant, as it contributes to lowering flight prices and broadening access to air travel for a wider audience. EasyJet, along with other budget airlines like Transavia, are making strides to meet the demand for affordable travel options, with the potential for further expansions in the future.

While EasyJet representatives in Israel have remained tight-lipped about specific details, they have assured the public that official announcements will be made in due course. Meanwhile, other low-cost carriers, such as Transavia, have already resumed operations in Israel, albeit on limited routes. However, there is uncertainty surrounding the return of Turkish airline Pegasus, leaving travelers eagerly awaiting updates on its future plans.
