Traffic Devices Group, the official Changan importer to Israel, begins marketing the DEEPAL S05 — an all-electric compact SUV offering cutting-edge design, advanced technology, and class-leading space.

The Traffic Devices Group, official importer of Changan vehicles to Israel, announced the start of sales for the DEEPAL S05, a new all-electric SUV in the C-segment that aims to deliver a blend of performance, luxury, and everyday usability.

Following the success of the larger DEEPAL S07, the new S05 enters the market as a family-friendly electric crossover equipped with advanced connectivity, safety features, and competitive range.

Design and Dimensions

The DEEPAL S05 adopts a clean, futuristic design inspired by “spaceship wings,” featuring a smooth aerodynamic profile with a drag coefficient of 0.25Cd, hidden door handles, and frameless doors for a sporty, premium appearance.

Customers can choose from five metallic colors—black, blue, white, silver, and gray—and two interior color schemes, black or orange.

The SUV measures 4,620 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and rides on a 2,880 mm wheelbase, making it one of the largest and most spacious vehicles in its class. Rear passengers benefit from a 964 mm legroom, flat floor, and generous comfort for three adults.
Cargo capacity totals 651 liters, combining a 492-liter rear trunk and a 159-liter front storage compartment (frunk).

The DEEPAL S05 will be offered in three trim levels:

• DEEPAL S05 PRO – ₪149,990

• DEEPAL S05 MAX – ₪159,990

• DEEPAL S05 MAX AWD – ₪189,990

Both MAX and MAX AWD versions feature 20-inch rims, adding a stronger visual presence and improved stability.

The S05 is built on Changan’s advanced electric platform, offering rear-wheel drive (272 hp) or all-wheel drive (435 hp) configurations.
Acceleration from 0–100 km/h is 7.5 seconds for the RWD and 5.5 seconds for the AWD.

Power comes from a 68.8 kWh CATL LFP battery, supporting DC fast charging (200 kW) from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.
Driving range is rated at up to 485 km (WLTP) for the RWD model and 445 km for the AWD version.

The battery features the iBC energy management system and holds a world-class safety record—zero fire incidents in over 70 billion km driven globally.
A V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) function provides up to 6 kW of external power for outdoor or emergency use.

Inside, the DEEPAL S05 offers a 15.4-inch 2.5K central touchscreen powered by the Qualcomm 8155 processor, with ultra-fast 0.2-second response.
MAX versions feature a “Sunflower” rotating screen that tilts automatically by 15 degrees.
