In a significant development, the United States, in collaboration with the United Kingdom, has initiated strikes in Yemen targeting Iranian assets, according to two American officials and corroborated by Lebanese networks Al-Mayadeen and Al-Jazeera. The attacks, including over 85 targets, come as a response to a pro-Iranian militia UAV attack in Iraq and Syria, where three American soldiers were killed and 40 others injured.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed the destruction of six Houthi-launched missiles aimed at American destroyers in the Red Sea, identifying them as an "immediate threat" to regional security.

Reports suggest a combined U.S. and British assault in Sana'a, targeting various districts. Simultaneously, the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, announces plans for a $17.6 billion aid package for Israel, independent of funds for Ukraine, emphasizing the urgency of supporting Israel's fight against Hamas in Gaza.

In another development, discussions among Israel, the U.S., and Egypt involve relocating the Rafah crossing to replace Kerem Shalom, potentially backed by an underground barrier along the Egypt-Gaza border. The barrier aims to prevent weapon smuggling, with funding sources yet to be clarified.

While Israel and Egypt engage in intensive talks regarding IDF activities in Rafah, concerns persist about a potential influx of Palestinians into Egypt. Despite control efforts on the Philadelphia axis, Israel is actively pursuing the construction of an underground barrier to counter tunnel smuggling.

On the military front, the IDF reports airstrikes on a Hezbollah military structure in southern Lebanon's A-Taiba area, along with tank and artillery fire in other southern Lebanese regions. Launches from Lebanon into Israeli areas prompt IDF responses, with no reported casualties at this time. The situation remains fluid as events continue to unfold in the region.
