In the latest volley of attacks, approximately 10 rockets were fired into Gush Dan and the Lowlands, causing shrapnel to fall in various locations. The southern area of Khan Yunis was identified as the origin of the rocket fire, prompting alerts across settlements in Gush Dan and the Shefala, including Tel Aviv, Holon, Bat Yam, Nes Ziona, Beer Ya'akov, and Ramla.

Defense Minister Yoav Galant, in communication with reserve artillerymen in the Gaza Envelope, conveyed that a significant portion of Hamas terrorists had been eliminated or wounded. He emphasized the need for unity and perseverance to achieve victory.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, in a meeting focusing on the return of residents to the south, reported progress and final adjustments for discussion at the cabinet level. Additionally, Netanyahu paid a condolence visit to the family of Major-General Ahmed Abu-Latif, expressing the shared sacrifice for the homeland.

Addressing security concerns, the Minister of National Security called for stricter enforcement of instructions to open fire in the emerging security strip in Gaza, citing instances where Gazans approached the border without being fired upon. The IDF spokesperson, however, refuted these claims, maintaining that there had been no change in instructions and stressing the forces' commitment to preventing any breach of the border.

In a separate development, IDF fighter jets targeted two military buildings in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah operatives were reportedly located. Earlier, IDF forces attacked a launch position used for launches to the north of the country. Incidents of launches from Lebanese territory to the north were also reported, with IDF responding by targeting the sources of the shooting and other areas in Lebanese territory. The situation remains tense, with multiple fronts and ongoing efforts to address both internal and external security challenges.
