Kibbutz Beeri releases a statement confirming the murder of abductees Itai Sabirsky and Yossi Sharabi, who were being held captive by Hamas. Families express grief as Hamas releases video, falsely claiming Israeli forces' involvement. The IDF denies responsibility and launches an investigation.

Kibbutz Beeri announcement on Tuesday evening, Kibbutz Bari confirmed the tragic deaths of Itai Sabirsky and Yossi Sharabi, who were being held captive by Hamas. The families received devastating news after a video release by the terrorist organization, prompting concerns about the captives' lives.

The kibbutz secretariat issued a statement: "Their bodies are in the hands of Hamas, and we will demand their return along with the rest of our abductees. Our hearts go out to the families in their immense pain. May their memory be blessed."

Yossi Sharabi, 53, a loving father and husband, was kidnapped from his home in Bari along with his daughter's partner, Ofir Engel. Yossi's wife, Nira, shared the harrowing details of the abduction, recounting how terrorists entered their home and took Yossi away. Ofir Engel was later released in a previous kidnapping deal.

Itai Sabirski, 38, visiting his mother in Beeri, was apparently kidnapped from her home. The family remains uncertain about his fate since contact was lost when Hamas terrorists arrived at the kibbutz. Itai's parents, Orit and Rafi, were tragically murdered in the attack.

The White House reports intense talks with Qatar for another hostage deal. President Biden emphasizes ongoing efforts to return abductees, and Defense Minister Gallant signals a shift to less intense fighting while increasing humanitarian aid. A deal between Israel and Hamas, facilitated by Qatar, allows aid in exchange for medicine for the abductees.

France establishes a team to transport medicines for the hostages, coordinated with Qatar and the International Red Cross. The IDF announces the destruction of a strategic terrorist tunnel under the Saladin axis in Gaza, and arrests Islamic Jihad platoon commander Bassel Mahdi, revealing Iranian-led training for operatives.

The situation remains sensitive as efforts continue to secure the return of the abducted and maintain stability in the region.
