Israeli Officer has been Killed in the southern Gaza strip Battles - Cousin of Finance Minister

In a tragic development, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has confirmed the death of Major Amisher Ben David, a 43-year-old officer from the settlement of Ali, during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip. Ariel Elmaleh, chairman of the settlement Ali, mourned Major Ben David's passing, recalling their time together at the 'Bnei David' pre-military training school. "Amisher had a heart of kindness and help to others," Elmaleh said. "His death is a great loss for our settlement."

The Binyamin Regional Council also mourned the loss of Major Ben David, describing him as a high school educator, volunteer ambulance driver, and benevolent figure in the community. "Thanks to him and thanks to his fellow heroes, the nation of Israel lives," said Israel Gantz, head of the council.
