U.S. Imposes Sanctions on Four Israelis for Actions in Judea and Samaria ongoing Conflict

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich criticizes the move, labeling the 'settler violence' campaign as an anti-Semitic lie aimed at discrediting Israel's pioneer settlers and the broader settlement enterprise. He vows to continue efforts to strengthen Jewish settlements and pursue sustainable peace.

The White House clarifies that President Biden supports Israel's right to self-defense against groups like Hamas but also addresses concerns about extremist settlers posing a threat to regional stability and the two-state solution.
