"After the initial assistance we gave them at the scene of the incident, they were referred to the Hadassah Ein Kerem and Shaare Zedek hospitals suffering from cuts, injuries, and lacerations. Also, the resilience unit of the Rescue Union provided assistance to a number of anxiety victims."
"We were at the MDA station at the entrance to the city when we heard a loud noise of an explosion and we immediately went to the scene with large forces that included ambulances, intensive care vehicles and motorcycles," said MDA paramedics, Moshe Tobolsky and Lior Levy. "Two wounded were lying on the spot while one of them, a 16-year-old boy, was inside the bus stop and a 45-year-old man was lying on the sidewalk nearby. A number of other wounded who were fully conscious and moderately to lightly injured were walking around the scene."
My father, a resident of Givat Shaul near the entrance to the city, prepared to leave the house before the incident. "Suddenly we heard an explosion, the whole neighborhood shook," he said. "My wife said that it was probably the weather and we continued with the preparations, but two minutes later we heard the screams and panic from the entrance to the city and realized that something had happened."
