This morning (Saturday), a UAV launched from Lebanon struck a house in Caesarea, reportedly targeting the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Fortunately, the Prime Minister and his wife were not present during the attack. Two IDF soldiers sustained injuries—one moderately and one lightly—while two terrorists involved in the attack were neutralized.

The IDF confirmed that alarms were triggered in the Gilolit camp and several settlements along the Upper Galilee to Haifa as a precautionary measure against potential threats. Following the explosion in Caesarea, the police reported the presence of a hostile aircraft and initiated a rapid response to assess the situation.

Residents of Caesarea expressed shock

Residents of Caesarea expressed shock at the loud explosion, with one local describing it as "a huge boom." Many questioned why no alarms had been activated prior to the drone's intrusion. "It was very strange," noted a nearby resident, highlighting the confusion among locals.

The IDF spokesperson clarified that alerts were indeed activated in the Gilolit area following the UAV intrusion. Initial alarms sounded earlier around 6:20 AM, but were later attributed to a false identification. No direct connection between these alarms and the subsequent events was confirmed.

Further complications arose as alarms were triggered in various locations, including Tiberias, Kinneret, Haifa, and the Yakneam area. Reports indicated that multiple rockets fell into the lake, causing no injuries. However, additional rocket fire in Kiryat Ata resulted in property damage and at least ten injuries, primarily from shrapnel and anxiety.

The barrage of missiles from Lebanon amounted to approximately 55, with around 20 targeting the Gulf area and the remainder aimed at Upper Galilee and Western Galilee. Firefighters are currently addressing multiple fires and vehicle damage resulting from the attacks.

Authorities are on high alert, conducting thorough searches and assessments to ensure public safety and manage the ongoing threat.
