4 IDF soldiers have been killed in Gaza Strip - terrorists stormed from a tunnel in Khan Yunis

Four Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers tragically lost their lives in a skirmish with terrorists in the northern region of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. The soldiers, including Captain Ido Baruch, Sergeant Amitai Ibn Shoshan, Sergeant Rif Harush, and a senior sergeant from Kidar, were engaged in security operations when they encountered enemy forces.

The encounter unfolded during a mission by a unit from the commando school operating under the 7th Brigade Combat Team. Despite initial gunfire, the soldiers encountered terrorists emerging from a destroyed building, resulting in casualties. Swift evacuation procedures were carried out, but the soldiers ultimately succumbed to their injuries.

Tributes and Condolences

Tributes poured in from various sources, including the Lev Hasharon Regional Council, which honored the fallen soldiers, particularly Sergeant Amitai Ibn Shoshan.
